Blue Screen when attempting to configure an Airport Extreme Base Station (or Airport Express) with a Sony VAIO PCG VGN-A197XP
When attempting to configure an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station (or Airport Express) using the Airport Admin Utility version 4.0 using a Sony VAIO PCG VGN-A197XP, when you click update the screen goes "blue" and the computer reboots.
This problem is due to the driver for the wireless adapter.
You need to use Sony Update to update the driver on your Sony VAIO PCG VGN-A197XP to version 8.1.0.26
Once you have updated the driver, you should be able to configure the AEBS or AX with no further problems.
